First Official Post
Welcome to our blog! We do not have internet at our house yet so I have not had much of a chance to post. Our wedding was absolutely gorgeous! It was a wonderful day. We had beautiful weather, about 70 degrees and sunny (in NY in April, God answered our many many prayers!). I started the morning getting my hair done for 2 hours and then got ready and moved on to pictures. Our photographer, Melissa Esterline was absolutely amazing. She took around 2,000 pictures and worked with us from 8am to 10pm! Our ceremony went without a problem. We had a big cake reception right after the ceremony, went and took pictures and then had a small dinner reception later. To see wedding pictures click above on Melissa Esterline. We went to Gatlinburg Tennessee for our honeymoon. It was an AWESOME time! We stayed in a cute little cabin in the woods. We played miniature golf, went on tons of go-karts, rode a sky lift over Gatlinburg, shopped all the time and took a really pretty drive to Cherokee, NC and saw elk and a bear on the side of the road. We stopped and took lots of pictures and videos! We went to a really cool indoor water park, laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed! We ate so so much too! From our honeymoon we drove to Memphis, TN for the Beale Street Blast. My Family has gone for several years and it was Greg's first time going. We had a great time witnessing and passing out tracts!
From there we headed to our new home in Ohio. We have been settling into our house and absolutely LOVING married life! I never dreamed it would be this awesome. It is so nice to have some one love me unconditionally all the time, someone to always be there for me and someone to just be best friends with and especially laugh with! Since I got married I have laughed more than I have in a few years probably!
Moving from NY to OH has been really hard for me. Leaving my family, friends and church is very very tough. I am used to living with 9 other people in the house so my house can get awful lonely when my husband is at work. Greg has been so sweet and has just let me cry on his shoulder many a time! This weekend we drove up to NY for my sister Anna's graduatiom. We had planned on arriving Friday and leaving Sunday after church. On Thursday before we left I told Greg I was going to start packing and he told me "pack extra because you're staying an extra week in NY; I bought you a plane ticket." I just looked at him in shock and said "no you didn't!" I could not believe it!! I was so excited! Of course it was the hardest thing to say goodbye to him today!! We both cried. But I am excited to spend some time with my family and friends here.
Well I think that is all for now. I am going to try to post wedding and honeymoon pictures as as
